The 2017 model year marks the 25th anniversary of the iconic Dodge Viper supercar, which will also be its final year of production. To commemorate this occasion, FCA has announced five limited edition Dodge Viper models.
1:28 Edition American Club Racer
The five models highlight the storied past of this great car. The 1:28 Edition ACR (American Club Racer) model celebrates the current Laguna Seca single-lap record of 1:28.65 set by the Viper in October 2015. It will feature a black exterior with red ACR stripes and more unique styling details. There will be as many as 28 of these models available.
GTS-R Commemorative Edition ACR
Next on the list is a GTS-R Commemorative Edition ACR, which pays tribute to one of the most iconic blue and white Viper paint schemes on the 1998 Viper GTS-R GT2 Championship Edition. In addition to the color, it will include unique decals and an imprint of the driver’s name above the driver’s side door. There will be as many as 100 of these custom models available.
VoooDoo II Edition ACR
For the Viper VoooDoo II Edition ACR, it will come with a black exterior and graphite metallic stripes. There will be 31 of these models produced, just like for the original VoooDoo ACR in 2010.
Snakeskin Edition GTC
The Viper Snakeskin Edition GTC is inspired by the 2010 Snakeskin ACR and comes with a Snakeskin Green exterior, an advanced aerodynamics package, and more. Dodge will produce up to 25 units of this model, so these won’t last long!
Dodge Dealer Edition ACR
Finally, the Dodge Dealer Edition ACR will exclusively be sold at the two highest volume Viper dealers—one in Texas the other in Illinois. It will feature a white exterior with a blue center strip and red driver stripe. There will be 33 of these models available.
